It's popular with many women I talk to. It is just an easier way of connecting than using this site. But yes you have to be a phone person....

I use it often and prefer to use it as the site often screws up the IM and chat on here. half the time you dont even get messages. Plus most cell have the video live chat with it.. so you can see if someone is a flaker, faker or a game player.. alot of those on the site. its worth getting updated in the world and getting a cell. Im sorry but not having a cellphone in this modern age is dumb and way behind the times. if a GUY doesnt have kik i'm really not interested in using my minutes and texts on someone who not what I am looking for. kik works free off my wifi since I am mostly home on it ... i save my data. I use it quite often. But of course there are many fakers and scammers on it . No different to here really but much handier as its phone and like anything you choose when you want to open and respond.

I use it as IM hardly works for standard members. Plus, if someone wants to talk to me, it's whenever my phone is on, not just when i'm on Meelp Always happy to make friends on it

I like it because it's the easiest way to chat (and video chat too) with someone without giving out your telephone number. Plus, it's technology and I usually find that people who are uncomfortable or unwilling to try new technology aren't a good fit for me!

I use it because the IM on here sucks. Plus like others have said you can send video on it which you can't on IM here reach me in my blog titled private mail

I have it on my kindle fire and use it occasionally with people who want a more reliable messaging system and also be anonymous. Please don't let me be misunderstood.

I prefer to use kik for talking to folks from these sites. First of all, history of the chat is finite. If I send a naughty picture or two, it doesn't live on their servers for all perpetuity. A guy has to screen cap any naughty pics to save them, which I like. I usually resist giving out my cell number to anyone I don't know, so it fills a need for me. Now, all the public group chat features of kik? I've never used those. Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale Her infinite variety.
