 no, war never ends. Vietnam politicized me, made me an activist. up until then i was more of a bleeding heart.

 Everyone should watch that documentary. . There's so much to learn there that was never told before.
Like the Top Secret report that was sent to Johnson (while he was President ) that admitted that 70% of the reason we were there was because we were too embarrassed to admit we couldn't win, 20% was because we were still under the influence of the "Red Scare" from back in the 50's, and only 10% of the reason was to actually help the Vietnamese people.
I agree, we really should have learned that lesson already, yet here we go again.
