Every so often I just gotta wonder... (As an INTP-Lech)

Wow it's been quite long time since I've posted anything on here; so be it!

Ok. So getting back from a coffee date which overall went great (except for a few things) I just gotta wonder about things.

At one point she and I we talking, flirting joking etc and she made a comment or joke (I still don't know) lifted from a quote attributed to Marilyn Monroe. About not deserving her at her best if unable to handle her at her worst.

So we spoke a bit about that. About the sex symbol and legend of Marilyn and how many women throw that phrase around as if it means anything.
This is where I got into a spot of "trouble" lol

Consider:
Marilyn Monroe was cultivated, marketing and packaged as some modern Aphrodite by a region/industry where there sole purpose is to creatively spin stories and fabrications.
the "magic" of tinsel town.

So at her best, she was a glamorous and imaginatively creative (seems a bit redundant but hey) presentation backed by stakeholders who had a lot hanging on people opting into the illusion.

At her worst she had substance abuse and psychological issues so severe she unfortunately determined the best course of action was a path of self destruction resulting in death.

Why on Earth would women want to compare themselves to that and expect men to accept it? I must be missing something huge here...

PS - Sophia Loren was hotter in my opinion.
