PERHAPS IT’S TIME TO BE RUDE TO EACH OTHER  Given the glitch doing its rounds on the site making comments invisible on blog and group posts, perhaps this is the best time to be rude to each other as no one will be able to see the rude comments about themselves. The opportunity to be rude without the danger of a blog war being waged is quite tempting. Like many others, I reported the issue to the site’s Customer Service Department who mailed back stating "We have resolved the situation for you". When I mailed back to say the situation hasn’t been resolved, the Customer Service Department admitted that "This issue is still unresolved, we cannot guarantee the exact time frame when will be the issue resolved". I always marvel how the site messes around with presentational gimmicks - the latest being the very annoying All Activity Notifications alert being moved to the right hand corner just where my mouse wants to click! - rather than trying to improve its basic functionality. It would save a lot of frustration all round if the site had a banner alert informing us when there’s a glitch and assuring us that it's doing its best to fix it. When the glitch is fixed, I’ll get round to replying to comments left on my blog. I hope the invisible comments are not lost forever. My apologies for not replying to those who left an invisible comment. There’s no point asking any questions as your answers will probably be invisible. But if anyone wants to be rude to me without me taking offence, this is your chance! Instead, I’ll just the seventh virtual symposium on 'The First Time' taking place on Sunday - see humorlife’s Unknown post for more details. Let’s hope the glitch is fixed by then, otherwise it’ll be the first time that there’ll be no 'symposing' in the symposium!   |

Who knows if the glitch is fixed? I did a test pot and it appears to be functioning as it's supposed to. I think the lost comments are just that- lost. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Nah. what's the point of being rude? We are all frustrated here. It seems the problem disappeared. Who knows if it'll come tomorrow but tonight it seems to be gone. We have been trying to upgrade to gold membership since before Christmas. and we have been unable to upgrade via the click and buy option, instead they ask us to print out our payment details, sign it and either fax it or put it in the post to them then they will deal with it in forty eight hours. They have lost two customers.
