Good luck with the new bike. Years ago I bought a bike trainer so I could continue "cycling" during the winter when it was too cold/wet to go out. Found out pretty quickly that it gets very boring quite quickly as there is no scenery moving past you. Haven't used it in years.

Sounds like you're well organised though with just under four weeks to go.

I finally bought something this year that I've wanted for 20 years. A Denon Audio//Video receiver. I bought an AVR-X4500H.

This is probably going to mean absolutely nothing to you, but the day I opened that box, I was in surround sound heaven!!

With the year being what it's been, I can at least have some fond memories...turning 50, and finally fulfilling a 20 year dream.

I'm looking forward to the vaccine so my stress level can lower a bit! Would be nice to see grandkids in person.
I have a bike set in my livingroom because the spare room is too full...LOL..we both ride it when weather isn't good for a walk.

My "spare" rooms also fill up very quickly... And now trying to clean up and sort out stuff just overwhelms me... Poor me!

Excellent choice. Be advised, spin classes are addictive!

Also, make sure to place a mat beneath your Peloton (unlike the photo) and keep lots of liquids handy. Prolly the only thing that will work up more of a sweat is your lover.

Enjoy!

With a four bedroom house for two people, space for storage is not a problem. Actually it's the opposite, and I've been working on getting rid of accumulated stuff!!

I bought myself this new desktop computer when I retired. The older one was getting quite cranky and I wanted a more capable one to work with my photos. Beyond that, I much prefer to spend on experiences/travel, and well you know how that is going of late.

Is there something you are looking forward to in the new year?

Yeah, taking that vaccine, having covid go away, and being able to travel again.

I am hoping our number decrease in time for me to spend at least a few days at home with my family for the season. I haven't been able to see my mother, kids or grand daughter since August. However, right now we seem to be going through another wave and if our numbers don't start dropping then for me it will be a a full week of vacation alone in my apartment and not able to travel.

I had such a room as well, however mine is becoming my office. It has been a slow work in progress since my back is bothering me so much. I am only able to do a bit at a time.

I would like a treadmill, however, to find a place to put it... lol

I like that. Just take advantage of the end of year to relax and enjoy. Lets hope this gets over soon. My basement (full house) is closed off and empty except for the house utilities. I have never been a fan of them and stay away

I agree, you can't blame anybody for wanting to put the Christmas decorations up early this year.

About ten years ago, I bought myself a soloflex. After a month or so, I just found out that it was a great clothes rack for my dirty laundry.

You will have a ball with that bike. At present I'm just looking forward to a vaccine and whatever the new normal turns out to be.

My family is only two hours away and in the same province, however, our province is broken up in zones and I am not supposed to leave my zone. To help lower the curve we are asked to travel only if we absolutely need to. We are asked to not visit other households even, so since I am single and the only resident in my household, I am not supposed to see anyone else.
