Tea or coffee?

Tea or coffee?

Personally, I hate the taste of coffee its to bitter for me but I do love a good cup of tea. Irish Breakfast ( must be the Irish in me) is my favorite but my tea has to have lots of sugar to take the bitterness away. Some say why don't you add some tea to your sugar, Lol. I also don't drink it everyday cause it makes me jittery and way more hyper than I already am but I do love a good cup of tea on a cold day. I do however drink lots of herbal teas cause they don't have caffeine.

What is your preference? Coffee or tea

I could enjoy either. Either usually sweetened with more natural sugar (Not pure white), and creamed with some half & half. With coffee though, I'm a bit particular.. Not that I can't have just a cup of coffee - but just not stale or burnt coffee.

Coffee my way though.. Fresh as possible - Papa Nickolas whole bean Hawaii Islands Blend coffee - fresh ground the moment before brewing, with a blade grinder, into a mixed martini shaken grind, that includes some very fines..

Brewed pour-over style, in a preheated double filtered Melitta ceramic brewing cone - the hot water added from a goose-neck kettle - the grinds preheated with the hot water first, before the full pour - and then the grinds gently massaged with a hot spoon when they are at they're peak release - dripped into a preheated heavy ceramic mug...

Given the treatment with the more natural sugar, and half & Half.. And then truly enjoyed...

The filters - a number four cone filter first, and a conventional basket filter stuffed inside - that seems to be more resistant to clogging from the very fines. And the Walmart filters seem to do fine, and are inexpensive. Though I will say, the Bunn basket filters are noticeably better, than any other basket filter out there.

And the very fines. Grinding with a burr grinder does make for a very consistent grind. But when there are some very fines in the grind, it seems change and bring out more wonderful flavor in the brew.. I can tell the difference anyway..

Someone doesn't know what all he's really missing out on, just yet...

For me, always two cups of coffee in the morning to get me started. I almost never drink more than that. Regular tea isn't, well, my cup of tea, but I enjoy some herbal teas at the nearby tea house.

To be honest, I don't like the taste of coffee either. I always add plenty of milk and sugar. I just like the caffeine hit it provides.

I understand, I feel the same way and why I add the sugar and milk or half & half to my caffeinated tea. Herbal tea maybe sometimes honey.

Tea please. I like the regular bitter black tea or green tea personally.

Visit my blog if you want to at thax013 and thank you very much!

Iced for me has to be sweet or it doesn’t taste good.
