Too bad I can't post pics in comments any longer but I do have three fortunes in front of me 1. There is a door just around the corner, waiting for you to discover and open...in bed! 2..You are climbing up.............in bed! 3. It will go smoothly.......in bed {my favorite} We will be ordering Chinese again from our favorite place, "Enjoy Garden's" as soon as our kitchen is done and back in order!

I haven't eaten Chinese food in a long while. I just can't find a place that I like. A lot of places around here don't tend to stay open very long either, a bad inspection by the county health office and they close up shop. Only to move somewhere else and open under a different name. We do have a few that have stuck around though and when I get a carving I'll order some delivery. As for the cookies? Yeah I eat them though they aren't my favorite type of cookie, and read the fortunes ....in bed.  Have a good one Joy!

Hi Joy thanks for taking me further with Chinese food I luv Chinese food and, I think that Chinese food is best "Americanized" in God's country when I was in Hong Kong and Taiwan, I couldn't find a Chinese restuarant weird, isn't it? hmm be safe and, I believe that every fortune in a fortune cookie was made individually for every specific person, I've never gotten the same fortune twice Emma Bale - "Fortune Cookie" Maybe I should listen to the ones who say There's only black and white, and only one right way All I need is time to figure this all out And why am I waiting on the other side? I used to have a weekly thing called "Fortune Cookie Friday", where I would post a fortune that could be used for the following week, plus any Lotto numbers, and sometimes a quick lesson in how to speak small words or phrases in Chinese. Perhaps you've seen a couple? They're still in the archives on my blog. Anyhoo... that is on undetermined hiatus, because Covid took over the world sadly. But when I get a hardcore craving for... say Panda Express maybe, I'll have a chance to grab a cookie or two. BTW, the best fortune to date I have received read: About time I got out of that cookie! "Be who you are and say what you feel. Those who matter won't mind, and those who mind won't matter." ~ Dr. Seuss.
