 i love cowboys!!! i see lot of them where i am now, i am in rural florida...although some think there is no difference in cowboys/rednecks/hillbillies, but truly there are two types...true country folks and of course, true country folks wear hats and boots...hats off meaning, admiration and respect...and yes, you should not touch someone's hat...that's like asking trouble...and, white trailer trash don't have any respect...nor hardworking, hence they don't care about hats...

i hope you find a nice hat for him...suppose you are willing to pay a lot of money...but it worth it...

 I always take my cowboy hat off for a lady and in my mom's house. There's nothing more comfortable than a cowboy hat, my boots and my Wranglers.

 Happy Tuesday Mike and WOW who knew there was so many HAT RULES I know I sure didn't. I am sure TJ will love what ever you get him. I love a nice Black Stetson Cowboy Hat myself..

 Am late to read this. loved it!!! Too bad it didnt get more exposure, It was a fascinating post . My dad's Stetson was a cross between beige and some kind of dove grey and lord help you if got caught trying it on Thank you
