Dial Up Internet and VHS Tape Days

Think back to the early 90's...

Every six months you were receiving a CD in the mail for either 10 or 15 free hours of Dial up internet. The fancy packaging & disc were delivered to every household US home. Starting with the 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 etc.

Guess what company did them. Yep, yours truly...

Also back in the day you may have seen commercials for a product and call for your free VHS tapes. Yep did that too.

Spent millions on equipment. Closed it down in 2010. Couldn't even give the equipment away.

Times have changed. I guess for the better...

Sort of for the better. THings like cell phones have compromised peoples ability to really talk with one another and not just hear, but listen

(Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

I agree 100%. Even the prices are a fraction of the cost from when they first came out...

I used to put those dvd's under small antique pieces on shelves. . like a mirrored coaster.
Couldn't get enough of them...
