Love is like a gentle rain
falling upon the quiet green
pastures of the silent heart.

It is a soothing, melodious
song of thunder crashing
over the golden plains of
the gentle soul.

It flashes like lightning over
the dark fields of the still
mind lighting it with precious
joy.

Love's sweet, pleasant
rain fills the empty pools of our
lives with wondrous enrichment.

And it gives us a heartfelt sense
of purpose and meaning which
makes us feel ever so complete.
