Yep, I voted. I filled out the mail in ballot weeks ago but kept forgetting to bring it to the post office so I went to the polling place at the local VFW and it was almost empty at around 3p.m. So I put my mail in ballot in the machine after checking in and left hoping for the best. Looks like it will be so soon.

I am over 3000 miles from a polling booth, and as a Brit not allowed to vote anyway!! Congratulations on casting your Ballot, I see on the TV News that this election could show the biggest voter turn out ever in the USA.
I always vote in all elections, local or national! There are far too many in your country and mine, that never vote, but still complain about the winning party!!

I was surprised at how few people were talking about the election today. Maybe because the results weren't in yet... But I half expected people to be debating all day.

I dropped my ballot in the box last Thursday- too much C-19 here to stand in line at my polling place- it will be swamped.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that my polling place was not swamped at all. I didn't even wait in line to fill out my ballot. I'm not sure what it was like earlier in the day, but at 5pm it was great.

A week ago. No way I was waiting for today. or yesterday.
A lot of people I know did the early vote. I'm kind of a traditionalist.... I waited to vote on election day.

I voted after work, I was a little worried it would be busier than shit. I was in luck, though, I didn't even have to wait in a line. In and out, 10 minutes tops.

Yup. Did the mail in ballot weeks ago. Whether my choice gets in or not, I’m not willing to stop voting due to the wrong candidate winning or a general malaise over the political climate.
It’s very true that if you don’t vote, you have no reason to complain. A democracy only works if you participate.
Voting is really a civic duty of ours.... I like to think, in my own small way, having the ability to vote means I matter. It took an amendment to the constitution of the United States to allow it to happen for me, as a woman....

Now... if I connect this bottom half with last week's top half - it ALL falls into place.

It's gotta be those dimples that finally set them off. There's have a cream for that. 🤔lol 😂
    Great pic! 👍 😊 🔥
You can't see the dimples anymore now that we're all masked up. But, yes, that used to be part of my charm. Lol.

Your country and mine both have the same problems with voter turnout. It does seem like the people that complain the loudest about government are the ones who didn't vote (shame on them).
I usually ask people when they're complaining if they voted.... Yah, I'm that annoying person who will tell the complainers if they want to see change they have to get out there and vote. You're right, they usually didn't vote....
