Tell it! I've never liked the traditional, skin and bones models though. Not a healthy look when too thin. Besides, it's more about they treat you than how they look. Just my 2 cents. Need image editting or video with animation? Message me on KIK at 69smith.

THe only unappealing ones are those stick figure Victoria Secret models. they look like a bone is going to just fall off like a leper at any time. Other than that I can appreciate most any woman's figure. Everyone has something to be positive about.

The idea that all sizes should be treated equally is ridiculous. We're not all equally beautiful. Nor, in this instance, should beauty be considered in the eye of the beholder. I am not healthy at this weight. This is not something subjective. As a society, we need to stop sending messages that it is ok to be overweight, it isn't. Not that I'm not unsympathetic to the plight of us overweight gals, the weight doesn't just come off. It isn't as simple as "eat less." We're back to hunter/gatherer instincts just to find healthy food ... and instead being forced to eat artificial food-substitutes concocted in laboratories. I just don't like the idea of "bbw's" (though I'll admit, I do use the term to signify that I'm a big girl), nor am I particularly keen on guys who prefer bbw's (it fetishizes something that isn't normal).

I agree. And as a long time nudist I have way too many opinions on the subject. 1. A larger woman doesn't have to have curves to be beautiful. 2. "Plus size" clothing designers need to up their game, so everyone can find something that suits their bidy shape. 3. I am annoyed that this movement bidyshames slimmer women. 4. Beauty is a relative term, and means different things to different people. 5. Everyone has the potential to be beautiful, but it involves more than the "skin they're in". If people would look at other people, with their minds, instead of their eyes, perhaps we could do away with all this shaming of other people. If someone is an asshole, a bigot, an abuser, whatever horrible qualities you display to the world are not forgiven if they are part of a socially acceptable and physically appealing package. Beauty shines from within, it can only be polished on the outside. I agree wholeheartedly with what you have said in your blog post as well as what the other commenters have stated too! We all should love our shaped body no matter if it is a size 2 to a size 32!!

Yeah, I know a woman on FB who plays that "real women have curves" spiel all day & all night. lol Here's a meme my nephew posted a couple of years back. I thought it so funny that I saved it on my desktop... perhaps just for this right moment? Thoughts from the Garden...
