No one is talking about screwing KIDs. Everyone is somebody's kid. As long as they are not your own kids, and are of legal age I do not see the point of that logic. If your kids are in their 30's or 40's it really makes no sense at all.

Younger bothers me more than older because I think the age difference matters more in regards to what we can do together. But if we can work things out then I don't see age difference mattering much. Please don't let me be misunderstood.

None of the above. You don't have an option that fits my answer. If the relationship involves exploitation or victimization on either side, then it is too much. The 18 year old gold digger that is going after Grandpa's life savings. She does everything she can to manipulate him into marrying her or changing his will. Or the 50-something year old perv that exploits the naivety of an 18 year old girl with Daddy issues. Both are toxic and hurtful exploitations of an age gap. If the couple has a typical, healthy relationship, I say to each his or her own. If both people are mutually happy in their relationship with one another, age shouldn't be an issue. My husband and I have an 18 year age difference and we rarely notice the gap in our ages because we have so much in common. We're quite happy and very much in love. Others can be judgmental if they'd like, but their opinion doesn't mean shit to us.

I never understand the "could be their parent" reasoning. Fact is they are not so it really does not matter.

For me no younger then me by a few years. Not all women my age want younger men like SOME think we do. Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth. If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

Once a person turns 18 years old, that person decides when a person is too old to date, and should not allow public opinion make that decision.
