Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will
When the road your trudging seems all uphill
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile but instead you sigh
When worries are pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must , but don't you quit

Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you can never tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far
So stick to the fight when you are hardest hit
It's when things go wrong that you musn't quit

This is one of the motto's that I repeat daily and have had since my accident..I have had those days when i am so willing to say the hell with it and give up as I am sure alot of people do as they struggle to cope with life every day..Sometimes its really hard and through clenched teeth when the going gets so rough that you want to cry , when the pain becomes so unbearable that those words help the most...

 Just chin up eyes forward,
even on a day of horror.
The best could be just a min
maybe an hour away, no sorrow
live in the day of now
hopping for a good tomorrow
don't worry about all the yesterdays
they are gone as in forever
never let thoughts get you down
only words in the mind, a never
Now and tomorrow are real
Live for these thoughts with a smile
Each day may be blessed and surreal
