 Not sure. I've been floating around here since my twenties. It was a lot busier then or it feels that way. Now, on the occasion I go into chat, the rooms are largely empty.

As HAMONMAN said about the profits I think that definitely puts some people off. I remember when a Gold/Silver member could write anyone and it could be read. Now, if you don't pop for Standard Contacts, standard members can't read it. There are other lower cost options that people gravitate towards. Kik is one, I believe.
