Are you actually safe? The answer may surprise you...

We want be safe here.

Practice safe sex, be safe about privacy, be safe about out money, and be safe about our well being and health. We do our best try and comfort each other, or ourselves that everything will be alright, that everything will be ok. Yet, as it happens too often, that is not the case.

I've heard many, too many stories since coming back about how there are fakes and flakes over here. Men, women, and anything else making it appear as though you can trust them, but in the end, it was a front for something else. They will bring you in with a quick turn around meet , usually the night of, and make you feel like everything should be ok, but best be wary not jump into it too quickly.

One story I've heard was about how a fantastic young lady was looking to connect with people online for possible video calls and sexy chats because the pandemic is kind of making us a little cautious to meet in person. She ended deleting her account after someone had tried add her social media with no warning. This is a terrifying situation because what if this person tried find her in person one day? Especially how many of us are staying at home lately, are we really ok?

Another story, and one that personally bummed me out, was one about an older lady who ended turning out be a fake. After talking with one of my recent friends on here, I was made aware that one of the women I was talking collected personal information from users, photos, , and addresses before blocking them. Who knows what she or he may be doing with that information, but I'm glad I stopped talking to her.

Lastly is a situation where a boyfriend started to assault his girlfriend with a third lady involved. After getting the girlfriend out of the hotel, escaping because the boyfriend was incapacitated, she ended calling the police and dropping off the woman at her house. I could never imagine being in a situation like that.

Now are all people on her bad? Honestly... maybe most?

Who knows how safe we are?

I sure don't know...

And this is all the more reason why I'm taking my time get know people first and not just jumping into things because someone really wants sex. I want personal safety more than sex. To know my life matters more than your sex drive. And if any of my being is at risk, then it's not worth the risk to meet or talk to anyone of you.

So be safe everyone, because considering how much is condoned and tolerated on here, you may not be as safe as you think...

Yep its horrible what lengths some people will go to. Like you said who knows what someone is capable of. What there true intentions are and why.

It may be safer playing Russian Roulette or going out in Public with no mask....

COVID-19 and men without a clue a plague in an of themselves, but so are many of these women who are cat fishing everyone like I mentioned. I actually know some friends of mine who have gotten COVID too because their work places were too eager to "go back to normal" that they disregarded all of the science and warning signs.

Thankfully on here, most of the idiots give off tall tell signs of problems. Whether it's being rude, scary, or having a profile that just doesn't add up.

seems that common sense is not so common. it has been said a hundred times.and written thousands
life was so much simpler then. doors were left unlocked, neighbors talked, and children played in the streets...
but in truth then and today the 1% got 99% of the attention. the only thing to change is the distance the word traveled then, and the distance the word travels today
and yet the ones that fear today, are the ones that live life on credit cards and interact... have many social media accounts. sign up for loyalty cards. enter every contest online....
and then they cry "my liberty. my freedom. my choice."
yup
common sense is not so common any more

there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity

So how can we hold Meelp accountable and not just those who are enabled by their inaction?

Unfortunately because we all agreed to the A.F. F. "T.O.S." there is no accountability on there part. Realize they have been hacked twice to the tune of 2.5 million of users data and info being compromised. And at least 2 deaths that I know of in Massachusetts. A.F.F. clearly only cares about there profitability.
