A second chance?
A second chance? |
||||
|
My answer is yes, but only if the person gives a decent and believable excuse. But maybe I'm just a sucker. Lol
| |||
|
My answer is no. I made the effort to see them and they didn't make the effort.History has a way of repeating itself.

Though I voted the second option, I'd add the caveat that they had to have told me in advance, not left me there waiting and late came with some lame excuse. How long does it take to send a text? Have to say yes ! With a reasonable excuse only once ! Life can very busy and sometimes hectic !! If it happened a second time it would be Fuck Off ! My 2 cents !! ![]()

Maybe I'll make that poll sometime. ****** Leaving me hanging is an immediate end. Hell I dumped an EXISTING fuck-buddy when she did THAT - just no excuse. He would have to have a very realistic excuse for not wanting to meet such a Sexy Lady as You... ![]() You can't expect to be Old & Wise..If You were never Young & Crazy!!!
| |||

My answer is yes. Because you never know what happens at the last minute. No matter how well you plan to be there. As you know things happens.
| |||
|
nope anyone only gets a kick at the can once and if they cant take a second to even say why then its them sol...I waited one night 3 hours for someone to show up and have been stood up 17 times in the year I have been here without so much as a explaination or kiss my ass..no one gets a second chance..trust no one..
| |||

I said - No. The excuse - not to text- would have to be, extraterrestrial abduction, for me to think twice. 👽🤔 Words are like meatloaf- they can be sculpted into any shape you choose. I have an issue... Please Stop Sending Me Vagina Pics

If I like them, I'd give it a second chance
| |||

one and done... it was important to me to show up, not important to them so we're not compatible. "The role of a writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say." -Anais Nin "I am big, it's the pictures that got small!" -Norma Desmond

Sure, I'd give him a second chance .... just as soon as he comes out of his coma. I put the sex in sexagenarian
| |||
|
and it better be a damned good reason
| |||
|
Yes, if there's a perfectly good reason
| |||
|
Another chance? That would be settling for someone who didn't have enough courtesy to cancel and on what, the most impressionable date. Using more than all the road!
| |||
|
It would have to be a really good reason as for why they could spend 30 seconds to text. I have gotten my phone was broke or I didn't pay my bill from friends and sometimes wonder about those. Yeah people forget stuff, get busy with something they find more important than you maybe, or something bad/unexpected happens or they might not be in the mood to be social. Honesty would be refreshing sometimes.
| |||
|
Nope. No one has time for that.
| |||
|
being that I get so few women who even respond to me like I am a person if she stood me up gave no reason but was still willing to communicate and offered the possibility of a redo I would will to consider it Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.
| |||
|
I said yes, but only if they have a good reason why they stood me up. However, I have always been more trusting than most, I have even been called naive. So maybe advice from me is not what you need, but I believe in second chances.
| |||
|
Yes but they better have a good excuses
| |||
|
I mean, this is life. Shit happens. However, you can always send a quick text or email because if you don't, then you weren't worried about how missing your meetup would make the other person think about you.
| |||
|
Yes give a second chance, but only if they provide a valid and plausible excuse.
| |||
|
Nope, for me, a no-show is one strike, he's out.
| |||
|
I would give her a second chance; if she had a good excuse. Because sometimes life throws you for a major loop, and you can only hope the other person will be understanding, that you need to get up and brush yourself off before you can hold a cup of coffee, or tea. Pretty much it's one and done for me. I try to be respectful and I would expect others to be as well. If they can't be, then they don't deserve my time, Even with a good excuse and no matter how much I was looking forward to meeting.
| |||
|
Ha the one and only ,other, vote it depends how hot said rude person is and how forgiving of a mood I am in and by that I mean desperado's horny Would fuck that cup of coffee right about now
| |||
|
If you no-show with me you're out, unless you texted me quickly letting me know you couldnt make it. I have better use of my time and other women to meet who won't no-show on me. Aut viam inveniam aut faciam Tips for Guys to Meet Women ![]() Things i miss most about relationships

a second chance is always a option, but the reason for missing the first, needs to be plausible. Happens a second time, never again!
| |||
|
Actually had this happen to me a few years ago. Was supposed to meet her after almost two months of flirting. No showed. I've always been a one and done. 4 hours later I get a text from her along with a picture and apology. Foot in a brand new cast.... She slipped on the ice and broke her ankle on her way to the date. I got to sign the cast two days later.
| |||
|
definitely no, at least they have a really good reason
| |||
|
may give them a second chance but ive been burnt so much
| |||
|
Sorry, no second chances. Period. Ghosting reveals that he/she clearly does not respect your time. Ghosting also means he/she has lied to you. It would be foolish to assume from that point on that he/she has any respect for you at all. We all know where relationships built on disrespect and lies end up, don't we? Move on. Find someone better. Let them waste someone else's time.
| |||
|
i realy feel like we all diserve a second chance
| |||
|
I would give them a second chance but they would have to have a good reason.
| |||
|
First meetings are always somewhat iffy, things happen, schedules change, and especially if trying to be DISCREET, sometimes a meeting doesnt happen. I like to give a person a sex cond chance, especially if they are sexy and turn me on! LOL!
| |||
|
Fuck no. I only ghost women after I least had the decency to meet them ![]() Standards are people too.....kinda ![]()
| |||
|
MMM she would have to come up with a good excuse why she didn't show up
| |||
|
Being harsh and unforgiving never ever leads to anything positive. Life is too complicated for simple up or down decision making
| |||
|
It happened to me because I was using my phone and tablet for IM messages. The texts didn't cross over.
| |||
|
I said no, but if there was a verifiable accident, then of course, one can understand something like that. Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important. Capture the good times. Develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, Take another shot!
| |||
|
No way, I have no time to loose, too bad.
| |||
|
I would give second chance if they had a good reason////////
| |||
|
my answer is yes but must have good excuse and a sexy ass like yours
| |||
|
No show means all the burden of the next meet is on them. I won't ask for a meet or go out of my way to meet. Best they can hope for is that I'll let them know when I'm at the pub and that they find me before I meet someone else. Following my advice may cause injury, insanity, financial loss, hemorrhoids, death and superpowers

I think you have to allow for the fact that people's lives don't always work out the way they had planned. If shit has happened then them not turning up is probably not the most important thing and being difficult about it can make you look petty. That said in this day and age with phones in everyone's hands really a message shouldn't be too much to manage.
| |||
|
Yes, but only if they give a good reason why.
| |||
|
Our honest answer is, we’re not sure. Nobody who has stood us up has ever contacted us again. So, it would depend. Generally, we’re pretty friendly and reasonably forgiving. However, we would not make first contact with someone who stood us up. Have a great day!

I said no, because not showing up is one thing, but no text or phone is not excusable.

Well let me get it a try and take you out somewere![]()
| |||

If there was a good excuse/reason then maybe a reschedule could happen but generally that's a no go. Being stood up is never fun.
