The contract you may have signed or been forced to sign. How does this play out in the D/s lifestyle?
The contract defines the terms and conditions of the relationship. effectively what both parties have agreed mutually. Some contracts are very detailed and others are not so detailed, the less detailed the more flexibility or grey area's you will have.
The less detailed contracts you should be careful with unless you know the person extremely well. The more detailed well you know exactly what your getting into.

When I talk to someone that tells me that they are intrigued or curious about D/s that usually sends alarm bells ringing in my mind. For the simple reason, it takes a lot of time and energy to accommodate curious submission.
However what about those who have had the feeling of submission ignored, misunderstood and suppressed for as long as they can remember.

I pulled into her driveway as the clock on my car changed to 5:50pm. Close enough, I thought. If she had been standing in the middle of the living room wearing nothing but a blindfold and a collar for the better part of thirty minutes then I reckoned that she would be ready to absolutely burst when I came through the door. But I wouldn't let her explode. Not yet. And certainly not on her terms. I strode up the garden path, pushed the door open then and closing and locking it shut behind me..

At a bar deep in the centre of Manchester's there were a couple of guys bragging that they had captured a girl and for days had her chained in their basement.
When they said that I just knew they weren't joking...even though they were pretty drunk at the time. I went along with their claim and made out I thought they were a pair of jokers and make some talk about how clever they were. After all its not often one hears something like that that nowadays. Kidnapped and captured!
Food and water...and all the obvious. They just laughed and said all sorts of crazy shit...from food to leftovers. And why did they do it? to make money... What does that make them?
What would you do?
1. Call the police
2. Go back to their place and join in
3. Buy her off them
4. Find a way to free her.
I will tell you what happened next if anyone is interested.

A Dominant that knows and understand how special a submissive really is will know that the love a submissive seeks is not to be discarded. Just as much as a Dominant that falls in love knows its not weak to fall in love with a submissive.

A question I have been asked is:-
Was it right for my Dominant to beat me black and blue for no reason?
The submissive was very upset and angry at what had happened and thought that it was ok for the simple reason that she was owned and collared.
I think there are a few points...but first lets see.
What do you say out there?

Submissive or Slave

When talking to some.. they are not sure what the difference is between a submissive and a slave.
Submission, requires an exchange of power. Where one submits to the others will and demands. Once that exchange of power takes place and only during that exchange is submission enjoyed, how long it lasts for is variable.
Slave, to understand slavery in its simplest terms means exactly that... A slave has no rights and is at the total mercy of the type of Master the slave is owned by.
