Rain Rain

Sunday rained all day but as soon as I got to Toronto it was warm and sunny. Hopefully, it stays for the week. Rivers are swelled up to extreme levels. I hope that we get a bit of reprieve. I heard it was snowing in Montreal probably light snow. Cooler for today but at least sunny.

It was a grueling 2 days, at least got registered at the convention Sunday. Lots of people came in today, long line ups to register and more people are expected to come in. First timer here but learned quite a bit. Now, it's time to network and meet people.

Toronto where I live has not had much sun all month but the occasional days have been nice. The amount of rainfall we have had along with Quebec has caused a lot of flooding in most areas. The past few days even though we had some thunder showers it has been okay here. This past Sunday was nice and warm at about 20 but yet again today due to the wind it is down to about 15.

I was in Toronto for the week of May 7 to 12. When I left Montreal, it was raining and there were severe flooding. As I was driving and crossed the bridge off the Island of Montreal. I never seen levels that were so extreme since I've been living here. The water level was just inches under the bridge. I've seen worse but I later found out that a big part of it was due to Quebec Hydro opening the dam.

Anyways, almost the entire drive was raining. Until, I get to Toronto when I hit the traffic on the 401. It was clear and sunny, summer-like. What a contrast but just happy that the weather was better. Although, the entire stay there was cool it was not raining at least.

Then you hit it at just the right time...lol.I hear of course about how bad the flooding is where you are.We have also had a record amount of rainfall dating back to 1952. I hope June is better weather wise for the both of us and the heat of summer sun lowers the water levels both in your province and my own..
