Ladies,

I am interested in your views on the instant messenger service that is available here.

I enjoy chatting and trying to get to know someone and think chat is a great way to do that. Anytime I say hello it is done respectfully.

Is it a fair assumption to make that if you are on IM, that you are open to someone trying to contact you? I would think it is.

I would welcome hearing back ladies.

 Do women need to use points to answer messages? if not then it wouldn't take too much to give a little (even copy n paste) reply so that the writer can at least know that the message has got through. Just a thought.

 Until there's a way to indicate a person on IM is "busy" and can't respond to other members requests, there's going to be all kinds of butthurt on a regular basis. Most women chat with, at most, a few people at a time. It's impossible to answer all the chat requests and like Lala said, mobile logins are an automatic IM login. When I chat, it's to chat with one person only but there's no way for me to indicate that to anyone. My advice is to not take it personally when your chat request goes unanswered, or maybe pony up for a gold membership and send emails that you know will have a better chance to get read.

Life is too short to take it personally, and I would just chalk it up to far far more men here than women. I had gold at one point, I found people don't respond to emails either, or maybe I am a leper, lol.

 Why respond if the other person isn't the right age or whatever little info shows about the other person? If do answer and politely say no then the bitch or fake or... starts.
Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth.

If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

There could be a "not interested" button or to be able to filter out what you don't want. You can see who is on line by age and other items. thanks for responding.
