Totally off subject, silly question

So I have a couple of cats.. real cats.. the feline type, not women...lol.. Anyway, the cats are, well.. cats, and are kind of stand off-ish... until I am sitting on the toilet. Then they want to be petted and played with... most of the time they just want to be left alone and will run off it I try to pet them. But when I sit on the toilet they want me to pet them.
What's up with that? have any of you experienced that?
