After much consternation, and and some conversation, I realized it was time for another overhaul. Things change, people change, it only stands to rea than profiles should change a long with that. I work in DC, and have landed in Silver Spring as my home base. I know my way around, I have friends in the area, but I'm still sorely lacking in the area of a deeper sensual/sexual relationship. I'm not currently looking for a long term relationship since there's some uncertainty in my future in the area, but I'm also not ruling it out. Similarly, I'm not looking for only a hookup. I'd prefer to leave my options open and see what comes along. I generally start off shy, but open quickly around anyone who begins to make the effort to actually know me. While I can be serious, it's nowhere near as much fun as being able to come up with flashy comeback or a sarcastic one liner. I'm educated, determined and motivated, but able to learn more and admit when I'm wrong. I like being able to do anything, from a wild night on the town that lasts til the next morning, or a quiet evening at home that ends at the last embers of a darkening fireplace. Granted, the fireplace I have access to currently is gas-fired, so you never really get to that darkening phase. Darn. Anyways, the key in my life is flexibility and variety. I'm very big on honesty, and take it very seriously in my life. A healthy relationship, sexual or otherwise, begins with trust and honesty. That and a little chemistry can really take you places.
